Madhya Pradesh's Education Sector Receives Boost with New Policy Reforms
Madhya Pradesh is undergoing a transformative shift in its education landscape, driven by a series of strategic policy reforms aimed at enhancing quality, accessibility, and inclusivity. These initiatives, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2025, reflect the state's commitment to fostering a robust educational framework that caters to the diverse needs of its student population.
1. Strengthening Foundational Learning
A cornerstone of the state's educational reforms is the emphasis on foundational literacy and numeracy. The government has launched the NIPUN Professionals Program, a two-year, full-time, paid experiential opportunity designed to lead large-scale systemic reforms and achieve foundational learning goals in Madhya Pradesh. This initiative aims to equip educators with the necessary skills and resources to address learning gaps and ensure that every child attains foundational literacy and numeracy by the end of Grade 3 .
